Vivace Music Lessons
Vivace Music School incorporates training in Piano, Voice coaching, Clarinet, Saxaphone and GCSE & A Level Music. ABRSM examinations are undertaken where required in the above disciplines. Lessons are on a private one to one basis. Lessons are half hourly or hourly and are strictly by appointment, only limited places are available. Piano Lessons
Piano Lessons are half hourly or hourly, and can be for fun or working towards an examination. Associated Board Royal Schools of Music Examinations are undertaken and entry to various music festivals. Audition work for entry to Royal College establishments also available.
All genre of music worked on but pianists are classically trained.
We have a wide range of Sheet Music available.
Singing & Vocal Lessons
Singers are trained to Associated Board Royal Schools of Music standard. Classical training but areas covered and a speciality are Music Theatre (including audition training for stage & professional work), Jazz, R & B, Pop. Music Festival entry and auditions available to students once of a good standard.
Lessons are half hourly or hourly basis and are of course on a one to one basis. Please note vocalists are not taken until the age of 6 years.
We have a wide range of professional backing tracks (which are available to buy at our TheatreWorks Library for £2.50 each)
Saxophone & Clarinet
Lessons as above and ABRSM examinations or for fun.
Theory & Exams
Theory examinations are worked side by side with the practical examinations to ensure a smooth progressions through the grades, examination accompaniment is provided for all Vivace students where required, therefore there is no need for outside accompanists.
Vivace Singing Group
Newly reformed after a year's break the aim of this group is to have fun whilst learning singing techniques - this is a group session for individual lessons see above. The aim of the group is to provide a low cost singing and performing outlet which will benefit the children involved, we aim to try achieve a good group standard and then perform at various locations and charity events which may eventually lead on to paid work.
The Singing Group is a non-profit making organisation.
The monies raised from the singing group go directly to help funding charitable shows which raise money for each years chosen charity.
We cover all types of music and the group is open to 8 to 18year olds. Unfortunately there are limited places and a small audition is required to ensure that entrants to the group can sing in tune!
The singing group begins on September 8th at Oulton Institute from 9am - 9.45am.

The fee is £1 per session (which helps towards room hire and photocopying as we are a none profit making group our teachers are not paid and have volunteered to offer this service).
